Dear Friends of The Missions and Canon Fragelli,

We wanted to give you a brief update on Canon Fragelli's condition and ask for even more prayers for his recovery,

Canon Fragelli remains hospitalized in Sienna where he recently underwent a double lung transplant. His sister Maria is still in Italy caring for him and reports that the doctors feel the surgery went well.

He is obviously still in critical condition and is heavily sedated. Maria tells us his blood pressure and color look good and they are very happy that he is finally rid of the ECMO apparatus and the tracheotomy.

These next days are critical to fighting off infection and rejection and more prayers than ever are needed. So we beg you to keep up the spiritual battle for Canon Fragelli.

Please pray also for Canon Alexis Rouquayrol who has graciously answered God's call and taken over the mission duties. He has posted a new mission report on the friendsofthemissions.com website.

We will share updates as they become available.

May God reward you for your prayers!

~ Friends Of The Mission.

About the author

Canon H. Fragelli

Canon Fragelli was sent to Gabon in November 2012 to restore the Mission that had been inactive for several years. Canon Fragelli likes to preach. His favorite subject is the Blessed Mother and Catholic doctrine. He preaches every day at Mass and any occasion that presents itself. “Faith comes through hearing” taught us Saint Paul. His official title today is: “Prior of the Mission Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus and responsible for the apostolate of the Institute of Christ the King in the diocese of Mouila.” He is also the Chaplain of the Prison of Mouila.
