I went to the mission in 2013 to help with the opening of their sewing workshop. I worked with the ladies of the mission almost daily, showing them basics such as operating machines, measuring, cutting fabric, hand embroidery, etc. The women were so kind, welcoming and very grateful. Being a part of daily life at the mission and even just a small part of the work there was an incredible experience. Even though there were some things to get used to about living life in the African jungle, Canon Fragelli always made sure we were as comfortable as possible. It has been seven years now since my visit and I still hope to go back someday!

Miss Kate came to volunteer at the Mission in October of 2013. She was one of our first volunteers. She opened a sewing workshop for the ladies, where she taught sewing and embroidery. She also helped tremendously consolidate the Mission's ladies group. She is greatly missed by all. The workshop she founded carries her name " Miss Kate's Workshop".
