It is a gift from God to work as a medical missionary in a profoundly Catholic environment – to attend Holy Mass each day, to take refuge in the cool Chapel with Our Lord, to be a part of the family of the Mission.

I cannot describe how it feels to give lifesaving medical care to a near lifeless child and days later see them playing soccer. At the mission, where heaven is stormed with prayers for every patient, you take part in answering those prayers.

Canon Fragelli and the whole family at the mission embrace you in such a way that when you leave, a part of you remains behind. The most difficult part of serving at the Mission is saying goodbye.
